A fun cooking booklet that correlates with the Victoria Square Mysteries and the Life on Victoria Square companion series by Lorraine Bartlett and Gayle Leeson. It will inspire you to have a tea party or at least make some of the recipes to enjoy yourself!
The recipes were easy to follow and didn’t include bizarre ingredients that you have to search for high and low. I made the lime cookies and they turned out wonderfully. They were nice and light in flavor and were perfect if you wanted something sweet but not heavy after a meal. Some of the recipes are for scones, tea sandwiches, cookies, and more. I look forward to making more of the recipes and once the Covid-19 virus is under control, I’ll be inviting some girlfriends over for tea and some of the goodies from Tea for You.
