For the month of October, I joined a 31 Days of Horror Movies challenge. But book, wine, and tea reviews will be back in November.
The Shrine (2010)
This one started with a bang…. of a sledgehammer smashing a mask onto someone’s face. Then it dragged a bit while the reporter and fledgling reporter did some sleuthing. And the reporter had to persuade photographer boyfriend to travel to Poland from the States.
Once we got to Poland, it started getting good again. Creepy town that is stuck in the past, a mysterious fog that stays in one place, and a gargoyle/angel without wings statue.
Then the craziness started, the gore rain downed and the monsters came out to play.
Plus the obligatory twist at the end was a good one.
