“Welcome to Moonbright, Maine . . .

Where the scents of donuts and cider waft through the crisp night air . . . with just a hint of magic.

It’s time for the annual Halloween costume party at the cottage on Pumpkin and Vine, the perfect place to celebrate the pleasures of the season. Guests return to the picturesque B & B year after year to snuggle up in its cozy rooms, explore the quiet, tree-lined streets and enjoy all the spooky fun of the holiday. But local legend whispers that it’s also a place where wishes have a strange way of coming true.

For three unsuspecting revelers, it’s going to be an enchanted weekend of candy corn kisses and midnight black kittens, along with some real Halloween surprises—the kind that make your heart skip a beat—for many more celebrations to come…” – Amazon

Kim’s Review:

I love Autumn, so when I ran across, The Bakeshop at Pumpkin and Spice (coming out August 27, 2019), and saw this was the previous book, I rushed out to get it.

All three stories center around the cottage, with different couples arriving throughout the weekend of Halloween. I really enjoyed the Magical Realism in these stories. The touches of magic in the stories helps to enrich them, and keep the stories flowing together.

The romance in them gets very steamy, so if you are looking for a sweet romance, you’ll want to read a different book. But I really enjoyed the sex scenes and thought each author wrote them very well.

Since these were shorter stories and not one long book, the will they or won’t they part of romance novels didn’t drag on for pages and pages. There was just enough tension to get my blood racing, in that good way, that by the time the couples got together, I was very satisfied.

Really recommend The Cottage on Pumpkin and Vine. And hopefully, by the end of August, Wisconsin will start cooling down so it feels like fall when I read, The Bakeshop at Pumpkin and Spice.
