This book is amazing! I received an ARC through NetGalley, but after reading it, I went to Amazon to put my pre-release order in. I rarely do that. Although I read a lot, I am very picky about the books I purchase, but I’m looking forward to adding this one to my collection.
With that being said, if you enjoy working or learning about crystals, you should just go purchase this book. 🙂
But if you need a bit more convincing, the first thing I was totally blown away by was the photography. And having a professional photographer as a husband I am very, very critical of photos. These drew me in and even if I hadn’t been interested in learning more about crystals I would have wanted to after looking at these enchanting photos. The way the crystals and other props were arranged made me want to buy every single thing in the photo.
The book’s details are wonderful for a beginner. And I can see it being a great refresher for someone who has been using crystals for awhile, and there’s a good chance they will learn some new things as well.
The book is very well organized, helping you to decide what crystals to enhance Moon magic, the Lunar cycle, the Lunar zodiac, the 13 Full Moons of the year, the 13 Modern Moons, the 13 Native Moons, and the 13 Celtic Moons.
Then corresponding with each lunar cycle, lunar zodiac or full moon Ashley Leavy also includes information on what animals, colors. crystals, deities, essential oils, herbs and keywords work well with them. As well as alternative moon names and a small ritual to help to inspire your creativity.
It is wonderful to read the entire book, or if you are just looking for a certain moon phase or lunar zodiac sign you can easily flip to that section and be on your way to increasing your knowledge.
